Clothespin sculpture by Claes Oldenburg

Clothespin is a 45-foot-tall Cor-Ten steel sculpture by Claes Oldenburg installed at Centre Square in 1976. The work sits on Market Street facing Philadelphia City Hall and was commissioned as part of the Penn Center redevelopment. It remains a notable example of postwar public sculpture in the city.
