Samuel Kraemer Building

The Samuel Kraemer Building, constructed between 1924 and 1925 in Anaheim, California, stands as a historic landmark and was the first high-rise in Orange County. Built by oil magnate Samuel Kraemer, it showcases exquisite Gladding-McBean tile on its facades, making it a notable architectural gem of its time. Designed by M. Eugene Durfee, this six-story structure served as the headquarters for the American Savings Bank and later El Camino Savings and Loan. Recognized for its Renaissance Revival style, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, highlighting its significance in the region's architectural heritage.
