Charles Sweeton House

The Charles Sweeton House, also known as Mount Pleasant School, is a historic site located in Center Township, Vanderburgh County, Indiana. Originally constructed in 1888 as a two-room brick schoolhouse, it was remodeled in 1926 into a charming two-story Bungalow style residence. The house features a distinctive stucco exterior, a full-width porch supported by elegant Doric columns, and a unique central eyebrow arch. Recognized for its historical significance, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005, making it an interesting stop for tourists and researchers alike.
