Frigidaire Building

The Frigidaire Building, also known as the Templeton Building, is a historic site located in southeast Portland, Oregon, recognized on the National Register of Historic Places. Designed by architects William C. Knighton and Leslie D. Howell, it was completed in 1929 for Frigidaire, which occupied the building until 1934. Following its departure, the Oregon Liquor Control Commission took residence, and later it became home to R.J. Templeton, an auto parts distributor. In 2004, the building was purchased by Artiste Lofts LLC and has since housed various creative enterprises, including the agency OMFGCO, which prominently displays the quote 'Long live the wildcards, misfits & dabblers.' This building not only reflects Portland's architectural history but also its evolving cultural landscape.
