The Independent ('Jenga Tower')

Completed in 2019, The Independent at 301 West Ave is the tallest residential tower in Austin and is widely nicknamed the 'Jenga Tower' for its stacked, offset-floor appearance. The building's cantilevered, column-free design produces a distinctive facade and altered the downtown skyline upon completion. It contains luxury condominiums and ground-floor retail, contributing to increased downtown residential density.
