Solomon Roadhouse

The Solomon Roadhouse, also known as Curran's Roadhouse, is a historic travel accommodation located in northwestern Arctic Alaska, near the community of Solomon. Built in 1904 during the Nome Gold Rush, it served as a vital stop for miners heading to the Solomon River. The roadhouse was relocated in the 1930s due to storms and floods and remained operational until the 1970s. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in Alaska's gold rush history and early travel accommodations.
