Austin Central Library (public library and community hub)

Austin Central Library opened in October 2017 at 710 W Cesar Chavez St and is the flagship branch of the Austin Public Library system. The multi-story facility includes a rooftop garden, extensive public-programming spaces, meeting rooms, and a large circulating collection, and regularly hosts author events, workshops, and community meetings. Its design and public programs have made it a prominent civic and cultural gathering place in downtown Austin.
