Harris Building (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania)

The Harris Building, also known as the Laird, Schober & Company Building, is a historic factory located in the Logan Square neighborhood of Philadelphia. Constructed between 1914 and 1915, this eight-story, L-shaped structure features reinforced concrete, brick cladding, and terra cotta details. It served as the home of Laird, Schober & Company, a prominent shoe manufacturer, until 1942, and later hosted a clothing manufacturer until 1985. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001, making it a notable site for both tourists and researchers interested in industrial history and architecture.
