Pavilion of Prince Teng

The Pavilion of Prince Teng, located in Nanchang, Jiangxi province, China, is a historic tower renowned as one of the Three Great Towers of southern China. Originally built in 653 AD by Li Yuanying, it has been destroyed and rebuilt 29 times, with the current structure completed in 1989. Designed in the traditional Song dynasty style, the pavilion stands 57.5 meters tall and features nine stories, serving as a major tourist attraction. It is celebrated for its architectural beauty and cultural significance, particularly due to the famous poem 'Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng' by Wang Bo, which has immortalized the site in Chinese literature.
