Stuber–Stone Building

The Stuber–Stone Building, located at 4221–4229 Cass Avenue in Detroit, Michigan, is a historic two-story brick structure listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1996. Built in 1916, it originally served as an automobile dealership and has housed various automotive businesses over the decades. The building features a distinctive Sullivanesque architectural style, characterized by its five-bay facade, arched limestone-trimmed entrance, and decorative terra cotta panels. Notable architectural details include lion figurines atop the piers and a circular medallion representing the original company. Today, it is known as the Stuberstone Lofts, offering a glimpse into Detroit's rich automotive history and architectural heritage.
