Littlefield Fountain (Pompeo Coppini)

The Littlefield Fountain is a large bronze sculptural memorial by Pompeo Coppini located on the University of Texas at Austin campus and was dedicated in 1933 as a memorial to Texans who died in World War I. The fountain group includes allegorical figures and was part of a larger campus memorial plan funded by Major George W. Littlefield. The fountain is a well-documented example of early 20th-century public sculpture on the UT campus.
