National Atomic Testing Museum

The National Atomic Testing Museum documents the history of nuclear weapons testing in Nevada with artifacts, archival materials and exhibits about the Nevada Test Site (now the Nevada National Security Site). The museum is a Smithsonian Institution affiliate and is operated by the Nevada Test Site Historical Foundation. Exhibits include Cold War-era displays and a recreated test-site control room used to interpret testing operations and public history.
