Shirley Hall

Shirley Hall, also known as Devereaux House, is a historic Georgian Revival-style home located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Built in 1940, this two-story brick dwelling features a distinctive hipped roof with a balustrade and a gambrel roofed service wing. Visitors can admire its elegant interior, which includes an original Virginia staircase dating back to 1826. Surrounded by mature hardwood trees and American hollies, Shirley Hall offers a picturesque park-like setting. It was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers.
