Locust Creek House Complex

The Locust Creek House Complex, located in Bethel, Vermont, is a historic site that showcases a former tavern turned farmstead, built in 1837 and expanded in 1860. This unique complex features a variety of wood-frame structures, including a five-bay I-house and a carriage barn, which once served as a vibrant social hub for dances and events. Although it struggled financially in its early years and eventually closed in 1899, the property has been preserved and adapted for residential use.
