Dondy Building

The Dondy Building, located at 154 South 3rd Street in Batesville, Arkansas, was a notable historic commercial structure built in 1918. Designed by Theodore Sanders, this two-story masonry building featured a unique combination of rusticated sandstone and red brick, showcasing regional architectural styles. Its distinctive design included quoined windows and smooth stone accents. Recognized for its historical significance, the Dondy Building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, although it was unfortunately demolished before January 2019.
