Ohio Theatre (Loew's Ohio Theatre)

The Ohio Theatre, designed by architect Thomas W. Lamb and opened in 1928 as Loew's Ohio Theatre, is a historic movie palace and performing arts venue in downtown Columbus. After periods of decline and threat of demolition, it was restored and now hosts concerts, ballet, and touring theatrical productions. The theatre is a prominent example of early 20th-century movie palace architecture in Columbus.
