Winchester Mystery House

The Winchester Mystery House is a sprawling Victorian mansion in San Jose noted for architectural oddities such as staircases, doors and windows that open onto walls or nowhere. Sarah Winchester continuously altered and expanded the house from the late 1880s until her death in 1922, producing an unconventional floor plan.
