Robert 'King' Hooper Mansion

The Robert King Hooper Mansion, constructed in 1728 in Marblehead, Massachusetts, is a historic site notable for its three-story Georgian façade added by Robert 'King' Hooper in the mid-18th century. Originally built by candlemaker Greenfield Hooper, the mansion reflects the wealth generated from the transatlantic fishing industry. Now serving as the headquarters for the Marblehead Arts Association, it features rotating art exhibits, photography displays, and community events, along with an Artisan Shop offering affordable art and gifts. The mansion was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 and is part of the Marblehead Historic District.
