Maple Springs is a historic home and farm located in Jeffersonton, Virginia, notable for its unique architectural evolution. Built in three distinct sections, the oldest part dates back to around 1775, showcasing heavy mortise-and-tenon frame construction. The property features a combination of planked log and frame construction, with large fieldstone chimneys adding to its charm. Originally a hall-parlor-plan dwelling, it underwent modifications in the mid-1800s and early 1900s, including the addition of a kitchen.
