Jane's Carousel (Brooklyn Bridge Park)

Jane's Carousel is a fully restored 1922 Philadelphia Toboggan Company carousel installed in a glass pavilion designed by architect Jean Nouvel in Brooklyn Bridge Park and opened to the public in 2011. The carousel was restored and donated by Jane Walentas and her husband and operates as both a functioning attraction and a piece of public historic art at the Fulton Ferry Landing. The pavilion and carousel are sited on the East River waterfront with views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges.
