Portland Union Station

Portland Union Station is the city's primary passenger rail terminal, opened in 1896 and noted for its Italian Renaissance clocktower. The station is served by Amtrak long-distance and corridor trains and remains a prominent landmark on the north edge of downtown. Its plaza and clocktower have long made it a visual and transportation icon for the Old Town/Chinatown area.
