Jesuit Pharmacy in Grodno

The Jesuit Pharmacy in Grodno, established between 1700 and 1709, is the oldest pharmacy in present-day Belarus and a significant historical site located within the Jesuit Monastery complex. This pharmacy has a rich history, having been part of the Medical Academy of Grodno, where notable figures like botanist Jean-Emmanuel Gilibert contributed to pharmaceutical sciences. Despite various ownership changes and historical upheavals, it operated until 1950 and was revitalized in 1996 as both a functioning pharmacy and a museum.
