Skindergade 19

Skindergade 19 is a historic Neoclassical building located at the intersection of Skindergade and Kejsergade in Copenhagen's Old Town. Constructed between 1828 and 1829 for civil servant Johan Jørgen Bruun, the building has housed notable residents including military officer Christian de Meza, composer Niels W. Gade, and ballet master August Bournonville. The architecture features a distinctive acute-angled design with four storeys and a charming façade adorned with decorative elements. Today, it is home to a shop on the ground floor and condominiums above, making it a blend of historical significance and modern living.
