Brattle Hall

Brattle Hall is a historic building located near Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts, constructed in 1889 for the Cambridge Social Union. Originally designed in the Dutch Colonial Revival style, it later adopted a Colonial Revival appearance with a 1907 addition. Today, Brattle Hall serves as a vibrant social center, housing the Brattle Theatre, a popular repertory movie house, a restaurant, and a coffee shop. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and is part of the Harvard Square Historic District.
