Adopt-a-Drain and 311 reporting for clogged storm drains

The City of Boston participates in volunteer Adopt-A-Drain activities and encourages residents to clear leaves and debris from storm drains to reduce localized flooding. Boston's 311 system accepts reports of clogged or damaged storm drains and surface flooding and refers them to the appropriate city agency. The Boston Public Works Department is responsible for maintenance and repair of the city's catch basins and storm drain infrastructure.
