Public Bath House No. 4

Public Bath House No. 4, located in the Nodine Hill section of Yonkers, New York, was a historic public bath built in 1925, showcasing a unique Second Renaissance Revival/Mission architectural style. This two-story pastel stucco building featured a central pavilion and modified Palladian windows. Inside, it included a reception area, custodian's apartment, baths, and a swimming pool, serving the community for decades under the care of the Laporta family. Although it was modernized in 1961 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, it was ultimately demolished in June 2011, marking the end of an era for this local landmark.
