Hübner Haus

The Hübner Haus, located in Hamburg's Neustadt district, is a historic office building that was originally a café and marzipan factory. Completed in 1909, it is notable for being Hamburg's first concrete structure, designed by architect Henry Grell. The Hübner company, founded by Christian Georg Adolph Hübner, gained fame for its exquisite pastries and was a social hub for the city's elite. Despite challenges during the World Wars, the café thrived until its closure in 1961.
