Texas Star Ferris Wheel – record at opening

The Texas Star Ferris wheel at Fair Park was built for the State Fair of Texas in 1985 and has a height of 216 feet. When it opened in 1985 it was the tallest Ferris wheel in North America. The wheel operates seasonally during the State Fair and other events held at Fair Park.
