Simonds Tavern

Simonds Tavern is a historic tavern located in Lexington, Massachusetts, built around 1794 by Joshua Simonds. Originally a tavern since 1802, it features a distinctive 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure with eight bays and two front entrances. The building was expanded in 1810 and showcases well-preserved Federal architectural details. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, it now serves as residences, offering a glimpse into early American hospitality and architecture.
