Cairo Supper Club Building

The Cairo Supper Club Building, located in the Buena Park Historic District of Chicago, is a striking example of Egyptian Revival architecture, designed by architect Paul Gerhardt Sr. in 1920. Originally named the Winston Building, it features a distinctive terra-cotta facade. The building gained notoriety in 1964 when it was targeted in a drive-by fire bombing. In recognition of its historical significance, it was designated a Chicago Landmark in 2014, making it a noteworthy stop for tourists and researchers interested in architectural history.
