Temple of Fides

The Temple of Fides, located on the Capitoline Hill in Rome, was dedicated to the goddess of good faith, a key figure in diplomatic relations. Founded between 254 BC and 250 BC, it was situated near the Temple of Jupiter Optimus Maximus. Archaeological remains, including fragments of columns and inscriptions in Greek and Latin, suggest its historical significance in Roman diplomacy and treaties with Asia Minor.
