Hatch Memorial Shell

The Hatch Memorial Shell is an outdoor bandshell on the Charles River Esplanade that serves as a primary venue for large public concerts and civic events in Boston. It is best known as the site of the Boston Pops Orchestra's annual Fourth of July concert and fireworks viewing over the Charles River. The Shell also hosts free summer concert series and other community performances on the Esplanade. The venue is managed as part of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation's parklands.
