Bellagio resort and Fountains

The Bellagio, opened in 1998, was developed as a high-end resort inspired by Italian (particularly Lake Como) villa architecture and landscaping. Its front plaza contains the Fountains of Bellagio, a large choreographed water feature designed by WET Design that performs timed shows set to music and lights. The resort's scale, gardens, and integrated water choreography influenced subsequent luxury resort design on the Strip.
