Williams Tower - one of the tallest skyscrapers outside a downtown core

Williams Tower (formerly Transco Tower) is a 901-foot-tall, 64-story office tower in Houston's Uptown/Galleria area, completed in 1983. It is frequently noted as one of the tallest skyscrapers in the United States located outside a city's downtown central business district. The tower anchors the Post Oak Park complex and is adjacent to the Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park.
