Boston Latin School

Founded in 1635, Boston Latin School is the oldest public school in what became the United States and has operated continuously since its founding. The institution originated to provide a classical education for boys in the Massachusetts Bay Colony and has educated generations of Boston students. The modern school operates at 78 Avenue Louis Pasteur in Boston's Fenway neighborhood.
