Frank Cadd Building

The Frank Cadd Building, also known as Fares House, is a heritage-listed structure located in the historic Fremantle West End of Western Australia. Built in 1890 during the gold boom, this two-story building features distinctive architectural elements such as a bracketed parapet and an arched entrance. Originally constructed for importer J. M. Ferguson, it later became the headquarters for the Frank Cadd Company, whose namesake served as Fremantle's Mayor. Today, the building is owned by the University of Notre Dame and houses the School of Health Sciences, making it a notable site for both tourists and researchers interested in Fremantle's rich history.
