J. N. B. Crim House

The J. N. B. Crim House, located in Elk City, Barbour County, West Virginia, is a historic home built between 1874 and 1875. This two-story, L-shaped brick house showcases Italianate architectural style, highlighted by an impressive entrance portico supported by eight wrought iron columns. It was constructed for Joseph Napoleon Bonaparte Crim, a notable local merchant and banker of the time. The house was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
