The Franklin Institute science museum

The Franklin Institute, founded in 1824, is one of the oldest institutions of its kind in the United States and is dedicated to science education and research. The museum features hands-on exhibits including the Giant Heart, the Fels Planetarium, and houses the Benjamin Franklin National Memorial in its rotunda. It is a major cultural attraction on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and hosts rotating special exhibitions and educational programs.
