Harner Homestead

The Harner Homestead, located just outside Morgantown, West Virginia, is a historic house dating back to around 1852. This well-preserved example of an I-house features a distinctive two-story front porch and an ell addition, believed to have been constructed by Philip William Harner, a blacksmith and farmer who raised a large family. The homestead was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. Visitors can explore the rich history of the property, which has connections to early landowners and the Harner family's agricultural legacy in the region.
