Ryecroft Hall

Ryecroft Hall is a historic Grade II listed building located in Audenshaw, Greater Manchester. Originally owned by notable local figures, it was donated to the community by Austin Hopkinson in 1922. The hall has served various purposes, including a voluntary hospital during World War I, and continues to be a community hub today. Visitors can admire its historical significance, marked by blue plaques commemorating Hopkinson and local hero Harry Norton Schofield, a Victoria Cross recipient.
