Elisabet Ney Museum (former sculptor's studio)

The Elisabet Ney Museum is housed in the studio built by sculptor Elisabet Ney in 1892 and preserves the artist's working environment and collection of portrait sculptures. The structure, often called Formosa, reflects Ney's German-American neoclassical influences and was designated a state historical site. The museum operates as a public historic house museum and hosts exhibitions and educational programs about Ney's work and late-19th/early-20th-century sculpture.
