Diego Rivera's 'Detroit Industry' mural cycle

Diego Rivera painted the 27-panel 'Detroit Industry' murals at the Detroit Institute of Arts between 1932 and 1933; the panels encircle the museum’s central court. The cycle is widely regarded as one of Rivera’s most extensive and comprehensive mural projects, depicting workers, machines, and industrial processes in Detroit.
