Lord & Taylor Building

The Lord & Taylor Building, located at 424–434 Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, is an 11-story commercial structure designed in the Italian Renaissance Revival style. Originally serving as the flagship store for Lord & Taylor for over a century, it features a striking limestone and brick facade, a chamfered corner, and innovative design elements such as delivery ramps and movable window displays. Constructed between 1913 and 1914, the building was designated a city landmark in 2007 and transitioned to an office space for Amazon in 2023.
