The Adolphus Hotel - once Dallas's (and Texas's) tallest building

The Adolphus Hotel, built by Adolphus Busch and opened in 1912, was the tallest building in Dallas and the tallest hotel in Texas at the time of its completion. Its Beaux-Arts architecture and prominence reflected early 20th-century development in downtown Dallas. The hotel remains a historic landmark and operating luxury hotel in the West End area.
