Omega Mart at AREA15

Omega Mart is an immersive, surreal art installation created by Meow Wolf that opened at AREA15 in Las Vegas in 2021. The exhibit presents a faux supermarket and hidden narrative environments with brightly colored, bizarre visuals that are frequently photographed and clipped for social media. Those striking, uncanny images are often repurposed as memes, reaction images, and short-form viral videos referencing absurd or surreal situations. AREA15’s campus houses Omega Mart and other experiential art attractions that have become popular content sources online.
