Birdsall House

Birdsall House is a historic Grade II* listed country house located in Birdsall, North Yorkshire, dating back to the late 16th century. Originally built for the Sotheby family, it was transformed into a Georgian-style residence in the 18th century. The estate features stunning ashlar construction and Welsh slate roofs, with significant architectural additions made over the years. Notably, it was the first house in England to have a private gas system. Today, it serves as a family home and a luxurious venue for weddings and events, following recent renovations that enhance its historical charm.
