Moltke's Palace

Moltke's Palace, also known as Christian VII's Palace, is one of the four elegant palaces of Amalienborg in Copenhagen, Denmark. Originally built between 1750 and 1754 for Lord High Steward Adam Gottlob Moltke, it features stunning Rococo interiors, including the renowned Great Hall adorned with exquisite woodcarvings and paintings. After serving as a royal residence following the fire at Christiansborg Palace in 1794, it has hosted various members of the royal family and prominent guests. Following extensive restorations completed in 1996, the palace is now open to the public, offering a glimpse into Denmark's royal history and architectural grandeur.
