Trinity Church (Copley Square)

Trinity Church in Copley Square was completed in 1877 and designed by architect H. H. Richardson; its distinctive Romanesque style became known as Richardsonian Romanesque. The interior includes murals and stained glass by John La Farge and other prominent artists, and the building is a designated National Historic Landmark. The church remains an active Episcopal parish and a major architectural attraction in the Back Bay.
