Lok Bhavan, Agartala

Lok Bhavan, formerly known as Raj Bhavan, serves as the official residence of the governor of Tripura in Agartala. Inaugurated in April 2018, the new structure replaces the historic Raj Bhavan built in 1917, which was previously called Pushbanta Palace. The old Raj Bhavan is set to be transformed into a museum and research center dedicated to Maharaja Birendra Kishore Manikya, the King of Tripura, offering visitors a glimpse into the region's royal heritage.
