Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern (former 1926 water reservoir)

The Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern is an underground former drinking-water reservoir built in 1926 as part of Houston's water infrastructure. Decommissioned in the late 20th century, it was later rehabilitated and reopened as a public art and event space, preserving the 1920s concrete structure beneath Buffalo Bayou Park.
